floyd little

There is much angst in Broncoland about the apparent snubbing of Bronco greats in the Hall of Fame. There are charges of East Coast Bias or conspiracy against the Denver Broncos in general. There is even tremendous infighting amongst ourselves on which Broncos deserve this honor and which just weren't good enough.

The problem is, we are so starved for Hall of Fame recognition that we are willing to sell our own great players short by including very good players in the same breath. The Hall of Fame should be reserved for the truly All-Time greats alone, and for this reason I agree with those who say the Hall of Fame is called the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Very Good. As fans we must ensure that we uphold the tenets of the sport above all else, even our own homerish

That said, we must also not sell ourselves short in any way. I have seen many fans be too stingy in their reservation for which Bronco greats are Hall of Fame worthy. There must be a balance. I offer my own system for categorizing Bronco greats in lieu of my own bias opinions. My system integrates an honest unbiased look at each players contribution to the game which include stats, championships, impact on the team and sport, and quality of character. Those who actually have the votes do not necessarily look at these things, but I feel these attributes display the kind of qualities and characteristics necessary for any player to be considered an all-time great.

For the all-time Bronco greats, I have broken these players into three tiers. The first tier I simply call, Insults. The reason for that is that their not being in the Hal
For the all-time Bronco greats, I have broken these players into three tiers. The first tier I simply call, Insults. The reason for that is that their not being in the Hall of Fame is a direct slap in the face of all Bronco fans and the entire sport in general

Richmond v Eagles ( Cousins vs his old team)

Ben Cousins will face West Coast on Saturday night, but to Brad Ebert younger teammates, the Richmond star is now just another opponent.

This is this first time that Cousins will have played against his old team, but it is also the first game to coach for the new Richmond Coach

But for Ebert 19years of age, arrived at West Coast a month after Cousins left for Drug rehab(he is over it), He is just taking it as another game.

"We haven't really talked about it yet, we haven't talked about playing on Ben Cousins or anything like that," Ebert said on Monday from Subiaco Oval.

"I know that'll be the hype around the game. But on a personal note I wasn't at the club when Ben was here so it's really just going into another game and he's just another opponent.

"He's starting to play some good footy again (and) he's been a great of the game over the past few years, so you've got to show him respect because he is such a good player.

Against Gellong Ebert was one of his side's best with 16 possessions and nine tackles, while young teammates Scott Selwood, Chris Masten and Jamie McNamara all showed glimpses of Greatness against the League's best midfield.

Masten and Scott Selwood both joined Ebert at the club after Cousins' departure, while McNamara debuted in 2007.

"I reckon all the young boys are starting to stand up and hopefully we can continue that and take that into the second half of the year," Ebert said on Monday.

"I suppose it was just disappointing in that first 10 minutes where we really let them get that run-on and five goals." Ebert said about the Gellong match on Sunday.

Ebert's impressive round 11 performance came just days after he re-signed with West Coast.

The No.13 draft pick put a celebrated family history in South Australian football to the side and said 21 games into his career West Coast was the club for him.

"I'm really happy to re-sign with the club and they've been great to me over the last couple of years," he said.

"The club's been great to me and my family, so there was no other option really for me, I wanted to stay here."

I think the hype is around Cousins like its a 1 man team, I think they should focus on the whole team abit more.

Ben Cousins gives the finger

90 minutes before the Richmond vs Freo game, in the warm up room Ben Cousins look up at a camera and gave it the FINGEER, this has caused a lot of controversies but Cousins still played a brilliant game with 25 disposals and a goal.
Freo went haunted with injuries, at the end all of the players on the interchange bench were injured and not able to play.
Richmond won in a 3 point thriller.

West Coast Eagles vs Collingwood

Heyy yall

West Coast Eagles have Lost to Collingwood on Saturday night at Subica oval, Collingwood came over to perth with not the strongest side, but a late change from Eagles (LeCras out) might have changed the game, West Coast Eagles are kicking alot of points , but Mark LeCras has been West Coast Eagles most accurate in front ofgoals this year, which would of changed the Ruslut of the game (Eagles=66, Colling=88) i thought eagles would have done alot better if Lynch went into the forward line, he is a forward i say. i went to the match on Saturday night, i go for WEST COAST EAGLES ( the best team ever) but they just wernt playing full hearted, you could see it when they were playing, i think that they thought they would easily win because Collingwood wasnt at full strength, but West Coast Eagles took it to calmly, and Collingwood took advantage of that, at the end of the 3rd quater Eagles started with with with intentions, but it idnt last that long.

Thanks

West Coast Eagles

Unfortunately THE MIGHTY WEST COAST EAGLES lost to the Sydney Swans on Saturday night. It was another thriller of a game with the final margin being just 5 points. Sydney were leading all night until the 20th minute of the 4th Quarter, then the Eagles took the lead with a goal from Scott Selwood, but their glory only lasted about 8 minutes before Sydney kicked the winning goal from a mistake from Eric Mackenzie.

It was a terrific effort by the EAGLES but Sydney still won. I wish both teams GOOD LUCK for next week, especially the EAGLES.
